A NEW ERA FOR ANTRIM, A NEW ERA FOR CLUB AONTROMA
The management and development of the GAA in Antrim began a new era in 2016. A new finance Sub Committee, Coiste Urraiochta, has been established under the Chairmanship of Aontroim Treasurer Pól McCanna. Club Aontroma is working closely with Coiste Urriochta as we develop a collaborative approach to fundraising across the county.
Our shared goal is to attract more members into Club Aontroma, at a number of levels, and to increase the funds raised for GAA in Antrim. The Club Aontroma board, established in 2008, and the Antrim County Executive are ultimately all seeking the same thing; a successful Antrim on and off the field.
The recent launch of the Saffron Business Forum was a real success, with more than 80 businesses signed up to join the new fundraising and networking organisation. That will grow in the months to come and is an exciting development.
In Club Aontroma we are re structuring membership schemes and we will very soon be in contact with our existing members to outline the new membership scheme and options. The old One Antrim scheme will close with a final members draw before the end of this year.
New structures are in place now and while success comes slowly we believe that we are making progress and I have no doubt there are significant numbers of people who are prepared to financially support the county. That means support for infrastructure projects such as Dunsilly and support for our development squads who are improving year after year.”
This website will be updated with details of our new scheme and our twitter feed @clubaontroma remains live. Our fundraising efforts will also feature prominently on the official county website.
Thanks for your continuing interest and support.
As you can see we are currently re-building our website so please be patient.
